Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures.Responsibilities

• Review and complete patient paperwork, including exam, scheduling, and physician orders.
• Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER.
• Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties.
• Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views.
• Work collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient needs.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist.
  • MRI registry (ARRT) required within 6 months from date of hire for MRI registry-eligible candidates.
  • 2 years' experience in a hospital-imaging department preferred.
